By downloading, installing, accessing, or using QuotedAI ("the App," "the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the developer of QuotedAI ("we," "us," "our").
QuotedAI is an iOS application that delivers contextually intelligent inspirational quotes. The App includes the following features:
You must be at least 13 years of age to use QuotedAI. By using the App, you represent that you meet this age requirement. Certain content within the App is designated as "mature" and requires explicit age confirmation (13+) to access.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on Apple devices that you own or control, in accordance with the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and these Terms.
QuotedAI offers an optional paid subscription ("QuotedAI Pro") available as:
Prices may vary by region and are displayed in your local currency in the App Store.
New subscribers may be eligible for a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid subscription at the applicable rate. Trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may be offered once per Apple ID.
All billing is handled by Apple through your Apple ID account. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the rate of the selected plan.
You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID settings (Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions) or through the App's subscription management screen. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access to Pro features until then.
Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
QuotedAI's free tier includes access to all curated quotes, basic quote selection, bookmarking, one collection, three card styles for sharing, basic widgets, daily notifications, mood check-ins, streaks, breathing exercises (3 per day), and achievements. The free tier remains functional and valuable without a subscription.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. Price changes will be communicated through the App Store and will take effect at the start of your next billing period. You will have the opportunity to review and accept the new price or cancel your subscription.
QuotedAI includes curated quotes attributed to historical and contemporary figures. These quotes are provided for inspirational and educational purposes. We make reasonable efforts to ensure accurate attribution but cannot guarantee the provenance of every quote. Citation integrity tiers (Verified, Attributed, Contested) are displayed where available.
On supported devices (iOS 26+), QuotedAI uses Apple's on-device Foundation Models to generate personalized quotes, explanations, and other content. AI-generated content is created locally on your device, is clearly indicated within the App, and is not reviewed or endorsed by us. AI-generated content may not be factually accurate and should not be relied upon as professional advice.
The "Talk with Author" feature creates AI-simulated conversations grounded in an author's known philosophy and published works. These conversations are AI interpretations and do not represent the actual views of the depicted individuals. They are clearly labeled as AI-generated.
Content you create within the App (custom categories, reflection entries, intentions, bookmarks) is stored locally on your device. We do not access, review, or take ownership of this content.
If you choose to publish a collection or submit a challenge entry, you grant us and other QuotedAI users a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display that content within the App. You retain ownership of your content and may unpublish it at any time. You represent that you have the right to publish any content you submit.
Published content must not contain offensive, hateful, sexually explicit, or illegal material. We reserve the right to remove published content that violates these standards. Users can report inappropriate content through the App's reporting mechanism.
QuotedAI is not a medical device, therapeutic tool, or mental health treatment. The wellness features (breathing exercises, stress check-ins, mood tracking, morning intentions) are provided for general well-being and self-reflection purposes only. They are not substitutes for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact emergency services or the resources listed in the App's Support Resources section (988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, Crisis Text Line, SAMHSA).
Use of HealthKit, Location Services, Calendar (EventKit), and Music (MusicKit) data is governed by our Privacy Policy. All such data is processed on-device and never transmitted to external servers. You can disable any of these features independently at any time through the App's settings or iOS Settings.
When you share quote card images via the iOS share sheet, iMessage extension, or social media templates, the shared content is handled by the receiving platform according to its own terms and privacy policies. Once content leaves QuotedAI, we do not control or monitor its distribution.
The QuotedAI app, its design, source code, visual assets, card styles, animations, and original written content are the property of the developer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Curated quotes remain the intellectual property of their respective authors or rights holders. QuotedAI uses these quotes under fair use principles for inspirational and educational purposes.
You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative works from the App. You may not use the App's content in a competing product or service. Shared quote card images may be used freely on personal social media.
QuotedAI integrates exclusively with Apple services (StoreKit, CloudKit, HealthKit, EventKit, MusicKit, GroupActivities). These services are governed by Apple's own terms. QuotedAI contains no third-party SDKs, advertising frameworks, or analytics services. The App may link to external content (Apple Books, Spotify, etc.) for book and media recommendations — these links open the respective platform and are governed by that platform's terms.
QUOTEDAI IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
Our total aggregate liability for all claims related to the App shall not exceed the amount you have paid for QuotedAI Pro in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the developer from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App, your published content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to community features (published collections, challenge participation) if you violate these Terms or community standards. Your local app functionality and on-device data are not affected by such termination. You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it from your device.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Colorado, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved in the courts of Colorado.
Your use of the App is also subject to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement ("Standard EULA"), which is incorporated by reference. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Apple's Standard EULA, Apple's Standard EULA shall prevail to the extent required by Apple.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Apple's Standard EULA, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of QuotedAI.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be noted by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the changes, you should stop using the App.
